Amin received his PhD in Theoretical Physics from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University of Cambridge. His research interests include various aspects of quantum field theory, holography and quantum information with the main area of specialisation being conformal field theory. After obtaining his BSc in Physics (with Mathematics and Statistics) from AMU, Aligarh, India, he completed a Masters in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Ashoka, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS-TIFR).
